  • REVIEW: PREVENTION OF TRANSMISSION OF MITOCHONDRIAL DNA DISEASE THROUGH PRONUCLEAR TRANSFER

Hettiarachchige Dona Hasindri, Udesh Nilanga Perera

Abstract:
Mitochondrial DNA disease is a maternally inherited disease caused due to the presence of mutant mtDNA (mitochondrial DNA). Research has been conducted to prevent the transmission of the mtDNA disease by preventing the transfer of mutant mtDNA. Pronuclear Transfer (PNT) is one such therapy to prevent the transmission of mtDNA. At first, the technique was tested on abnormally fertilized human zygotes. Following its success

  • INTEGRATED WATERSHED MANAGEMENT OF MANIMUKTHA SUB-WATERSHED IN VELLAR RIVER, TAMILNADU, INDIA

Dr. N. Nagarajan*, Dr. S. Sivaprakasam, Dr. P. Sivarajan, Dr. K. Karthikeyan

Abstract:
This study deals with prediction of river discharge and quality of a predominantly rural catchments using simple model in an integrated GIS. River discharge is being predicted by using the SCS-CN (Soil Conservation Service) runoff Curve Number model by the export coefficient model. Numbers of attempts have been made by many scientists to demonstrate the usefulness of Remote sensing techniques for rainfall – runoff study. Several new models and approaches for rainfall – runoff have been developed, from Soil Conservation Service to small watersheds by comparing the simulated and actual

  • “SONOCHEMICAL AND THERMODYNAMICS STUDIES OF BINARY LIQUID MIXTURES OF XYLENES (ORTHO-, META- AND PARA) WITH PROPAN-1-OL AT DIFFERENT TEMPERATURES’’.

Tulshidas S. Savale, Janardhan M. Shewale.

Abstract:
Density and ultrasonic velocity for binary liquid mixtures of ortho-, meta- and para –xylenes with propan-1-ol have been measured over the entire range of composition at 298.15, 303.15, 308.15 and 313.15K and atmospheric pressure .From the experimental data, the parameters isentropic compressibility (Ks) ,specific acoustic impedance (Z), intermolecular free length (Lf), relative association (RA) and molar sound velocity (R)have been calculated. In the present binary liquid mixtures

  • A STUDY OF DYNAMIC BUFFER MANAGEMENT AND REPLICA PLACEMENT STRATEGIES AND ALGORITHMS FOR REPLICA PLACEMENT AND REPLACEMENT

Ashis Ranjan Paul Dr PrernaNagpal

Abstract:
In a data grid, Data Replication techniques are used to decrease the time it takes for data to be replicated, the amount of storage it takes up, the amount of time it takes for data to be accessed, and the amount of network bandwidth required. As a result of data replication, system dependability is improved. Replica placement and selection are two of the phases in data replication. Based on network delay and user requests, replica placement is the process of finding the best potential node to replicate data

  • THE STUDY OF INFLAMMATORY RESPONSE OF FISH TO HELMINTH PARASITES

Chandan Kumar Chand

Abstract:
The digestive tract of many fish has been shown to be a favourite environment for the establish- ment and growth of pathogenic organisms. Endo-paasitic helminths often induce inflammation and modi- fication of the structure and function of local tissues (Castro, 1992).

  • STRUCTURAL ACTIVITY RELATIONSHIP ANALYSIS AND SYNTHESIS OF HETEROCYCLIC NITROGEN CONTAINING COMPOUNDS: A PRAGMATIC STUDY

AVADHESH KUMAR PANDEY (1) AND DEEPAK BANSAL (2)

Abstract:
In silico toxicology tools, steps to generate prediction models, and categories of prediction models. The purpose of this study is to provide a comprehensive overview of existing modeling methods and algorithms for toxicity prediction (element D above), with a particular (but not exclusive) emphasis on computational tools that can implement these methods (element E), and expert systems that deploy the prediction models (element F). Due to the nature of this expanding field, this study cannot provide an exhaustive overview of all the seven in silico components mentioned above. Prediction of Toxicity-associated properties of new chemicals is a big challenge. In admetSAR, probabilistic, regression as well as qualitative classification models were implemented for 'Human Ether-a-go-go- Related Gene Inhibition', 'AMES Toxicity', Carcinogenecity', 'Fish Toxicity', 'Tetrahymena Pyriformis Toxicity', 'Honey Bee Toxicity'.Among all the synthesized Pyrimidine derivatives (P1 to P5) , Pyrimidine derivatives P4 and P5 shows lesser toxicity.

  • Ozone layer Ozone Depletion and it’s effect on Environment and Human

Gurcharan Dass, MM (P.G) College, Fatehabad

Abstract:
In our world most of the human activities affect on the environment, which causes soil pollution, water pollution, air pollution and depletion of Ozone layer is one of them. By which a hole is created into Ozone layer which affect our environment. The objective of this paper is to see the origin, cause and effect of Ozone layer depletion. CDC is one of the main reason for depletion of Ozone layer, So the U.V radiation fall on earth directly which affects environment and becomes cause of many human diseases. In future Ozone layer may recover because we can see in during lockdown without human activity Ozone layer started recovering itself.

  • Present Scenario of House Sparrow Breeding in Human Landscape in Thar Desert, Bikaner, Rajasthan

Priyanka Jangeed1, Mamta Sharma2, Anil Kumar Chhangani 1

Abstract:
Birds, one of the links of food chain in sustainable ecosystem & are among the best monitors of environment to evaluate the environmental changes throughout the history as bio monitors. House sparrows have lived around humans for centuries. They are closely associated with people and their building. Look for them on cities, towns, suburbs, taking handouts in parks and zoos, or cheeping from a perch on your roof or trees in your yard. House sparrow like areas that modified by humans, including farms, residential, and urban areas. House sparrows are absent from undisturbed forests, grasslands, and extensive woodlands. The house sparrow is a stout, stocky sparrow, with shorter legs and a thicker bill then indigenous American sparrow. House sparrow tends to forage for food on the ground, using a hopping movement when not in flight.
