Abstract:
The research aims to find out how Internet of Things (IoT) makes a difference to the competitive positioning in an organization. A detailed assessment of the model of Technology, Organization and Environment (TOE) and the model of the Five Forces of Competitive Positioning was made. The framework of Technology, Organization and Environment (TOE) was assessed, as the three elements in the framework, that explain opportunities and constraints, that organizations face in innovations of technology. Hence these three elements affect the way an organization views the requirement, makes a thorough search, and then choose to use a new technology.
