  • CAUSES OF DELAY IN CONSTRUCTION PROJECTS IN BENGHAZI MUNICIPILITY- LIBYA

Abstract:
Benghazi Municipality has a problem in finishing the construction projects in due time which has a negative impact on the success of these projects such as, exceeding the time limit, increasing the cost estimates. These negative effects reflect themselves on the different spheres of life and the whole society in general. It is important to investigate this phenomenon in the period between 2013-2017 through studying the causes behind it. This research aimed to investigate the main causes of delay in the completion of construction projects in Benghazi Municipality in Libya, and to identify the average of time overrun. It also analysed and ranked the most important causes of delay according to their FI, SI and the importance index II from the point of view of contractors and consultants.

The landscape of statutes of labor laws is constantly evolving, and it takes a special agility to keep abreast of all the latest developments and ensure compliance. It is absolutely imperative to comply with all legal and statutory norms for businesses to operate successfully in India. This often involves significant investment of resources, time, and continuous monitoring to be in the know of all the changes that are happening, in order to be compliant and avoid penalties. With the ever-changing employment laws, it becomes a challenge for the companies to keep themselves compliant. On this backdrop, an attempt is made to overview the significance of Human Resource Laws in Human Resource Management practices in India.

  • SMALL AND MEDIUM SCALE ENTERPRISES SME AS A CATALYST FOR ECONOMIC AND NATIONAL GROWTH

Abstract:
The performance and effectiveness of small and medium scale enterprises, equity investment scheme (SMEEIS) as an instrument of economic growth and development in Nigeria has long been close examination. The study was carried out using primary and secondary methods in the collection of data, where in primary data, the researcher designed and advanced questionnaires. The data collected from the questionnaire was analyzed in tables with simple percentage and interpreted for the understanding of the study. The researcher used a sample random sampling method of selection. The procedure for analyzing the data for this research are as follows; Ordinary Least Square (OLS).Co-Integration: which is a statistical property of a collection (XI, X2,. XK) of time series variables, the study Findings it becomes apparent that the study reveals that deposit money bank lending, on SME's development and growth , indices presented in the model are capable of influencing SME's output. The study recommends amongst others that government should enforce and reinforce SME's scheme,(SMEEIS) and, small and medium enterprises credit guarantee scheme (SMECGS) to promote needed economic and National Development.

Employment generation in rural India has emerged not only as one of the most crucial socio-economic issue in India but also the most pressing political concern. Bulk of India’s unemployed population live in rural areas and providing employment to them has been the recurring theme of all major five year plans. The government had initiated a number of rural development programme including employment generation programme since the 80’s. Different innovative scheme and programme have been initiated time to time in different plan period. Some have achieved goals in short or long term but others have faced technical and implementation difficulties. Therefore, now the time to bring better legislation and implemented pro people development policies in the country.

Pure Storage and Nimble Storage are two highly successful enterprise data storage companies to emerge in the last decade. But the similarity between the two stops there. The two companies took completely different routes to market as they started off in the marketplace. While Pure targeted the high end of the market Nimble targeted the mid to lower end of the market. This case study discusses the importance of audience segmentation and of pursuing marketing tactics relevant to the target segment the companies operate in. It is also important to have the right type of measure to evaluate the success of marketing tactics and a process in place to continuously evaluate these tactics. Companies that successfully manage to adopt all of these continue to grow over time and become dominant in their markets regardless of broader macro-economic conditions.

Abstract:
ABSTRACT Cases of cancer are increasing rapidly worldwide. Psychosocial care is a very important aspect in improving the quality of life that can decrease the overall load of cost to the health care system. This is clearly an important goal in healthcare management. Nursing professionals are the key members of the health care team. Oncology nurses interact with oncology patients across throughout the continuum of care through treatment and symptom management. They play a multifaceted role as a direct caregiver, educator, consultant, administrator, researcher and in administering complex chemotherapies. Nursing personnel involved in chemotherapy, biotherapy, radiation therapy, cancer genetic counselling, palliative care, in bone marrow transplant. Cancer patients deal with prolonged distress and a lot of suffering from the disease as well as from treatment. As the nursing staff, we are 24 hours available to the patient as well as with their caregiver. As an important member of the healthcare team, we can provide a good psychosocial care which can be beneficial in improving the quality of life of cancer patients. Nursing care can be provided to the patients for early cancer prevention to the detection of signs and symptoms.
