Abstract: The lockdown of schools in Uttarakhand to confront the effects of COVID-19 caused an enormous impact at both societal and educational levels. Schools and families had to react rapidly to a new teaching and learning scenario without the benefit of previous planning or government guidelines. In this context, some schools were better able to adapt to the new circumstances than others. Likewise, the structure and size of families’ economic, social and cultural capital produced significant differences in the learning opportunities for children from different backgrounds. Abstract: प्राचीन काल से हरियाणा कृषि प्रधान क्षेत्र रहा है। कृषि की उत्कृष्टता के कारण यहां के निवासियों ने सदा ही राज्य की अर्थव्यवस्था के रूप में मजबूती प्रदान की है। इसी संदर्भ में हरियाणा में विचाराधीन काल में ग्रामीण उद्योगों के माध्यम से अर्थव्यवस्था को अधिक बढ़ावा मिला जिससे यहां पर लगने वाले हाट बाजारों में स्थानीय किसान अपने कृषक व गैर कृषि उत्पादन को बेचते थे और स्थानीय व राष्ट्रीय व्यापारी विभिन्न सामानों को खरीद कर यहां की अर्थव्यवस्था में महत्वपूर्ण योगदान देते थे। इस क्षेत्र के अनेक गांव अपनी विभिन्न वस्तुओं के उत्पादन में पहचान बना रहे थे।

Abstract: Literature and environment studies— commonly called “eco-criticism” or “environmental criticism” in analogy to the more general term literary criticism—comprise an eclectic, pluriform, and cross-disciplinary initiative that aims to explore the environmental dimensions of literature and other creative media in a spirit of environmental concern not limited to any one method or commitment. Eco-criticism begins from the conviction that the arts of imagination and the study thereof—by virtue of their grasp of the power of word, story, and image to reinforce, enliven, and direct environmental concern—can contribute significantly to the understanding of environmental problems: the multiple forms of eco-degradation that afflict planet Earth today. The aim of this paper is to highlight the development of eco-criticism. The study is based on secondary sources.

Abstract: जनसांख्यिकी जनसंख्या का विज्ञान है। जनसांख्यिकी विज्ञानी तीन मुख्य जनसांख्यिकीय प्रक्रियाओं (जन्म, प्रवासन और उम्र बढ़ना (मृत्यु सहित)) की जांच करके जनसंख्या की गतिशीलता को समझना चाहते हैं । ये तीनों प्रक्रियाएँ जनसंख्या में परिवर्तन में योगदान देती हैं, जिसमें लोग पृथ्वी पर कैसे निवास करते हैं, राष्ट्र और समाज बनाते हैं और संस्कृति, शारीरिक शिक्षा एवं खेलकूद का विकास करते हैं।
