The narrative of these epics has changed and reinterpreted from individual’s point of view. Contemporary retelling is also an endeavour to explore women inquisition in epics.

Abstract: एक युग था, जब संचार के सीमित साधन ही उपलब्ध थे। आज जनसंचार के आधुनिक साधनों ने विश्व की सीमाऐं लाँघकर अन्तरिक्ष में प्रवेश कर लिया है। लेकिन प्रकृति का यह कैसा विरोधाभास है कि एक ओर तो मानव अपने कल्याण की दिशा में कर्मरत हैं वहीं दूसरी ओर उसकी विध्वंसकारी प्रवृत्तियाँ उसे स्वार्थ की पूर्ति में लगा देती है। संचार के वैज्ञानिक साधनों ने जहाँ विकास के मार्गों को प्रशस्त किया है इक्कीसवीं सदी सूचना एवं संचार की सदी बनकर उभरी है। उसने सूचना प्राप्ति एवं संचार साधनों के अनेक रूप - प्रतिरूप हमारे सामने उपलब्ध करा दिए हैं।
