  • BIODEGRADATION STUDIES ON CYPERMETHRIN USING BACTERIA ISOLATED FROM SURFACE SOIL (AGRICULTURE FIELD)

Abstract:
Cypermethrin is a synthetic pyrethroid pesticide, widely used to control pests in cotton and vegetable crops and other insect control activities. Nowadays environmental concern is the contamination of aquatic ecosystem due to pesticide discharges from manufacturing plant, agricultural runoff, leaching, accidental spills and other sources. An effective pesticide waste treatment technology is needed to prevent water pollution and to comply with increasing regulatory pressures. The microorganisms play a significant role in detoxifying pesticides and pesticide-contaminated waste (water and soil) in the environment. There are few reports on the degradation of pyrethroid insecticides in soils. This study may provide a basis for prevention and control of pesticides pollution. The ability of five bacterial isolates (Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Micrococcus sp, Staphylococci and Streptococcus sp, Bacillus subtilis,.) isolated from cultivated field to degrade cypermethrin was studied using enrichment technique, with varying concentrations of cypermethrin in the medium. Abstract:
The goal of this project is to create a learning material for linear algebra with the intention of helping the advancement of students' mathematical knowledge as well as representation of mathematical ideas. The material will be built in the context of linear algebra. The method of doing research is abbreviated as R&D, which stands for "research and development." It may be broken down into three basic phases, which are the preliminary, development, and distribution stages. The stage of conceptualization was the only one considered in the scope of the research. According to the results, the conclusion is that the assessment of the professionals on the educational materials fits into the category of valid with a minor modification to the part on exercise questions.
