  • Impact of Foreign Equity Holding on Firm Performance

Abstract:
Foreign equity holding is an important part of running a business successfully. It is the key for creating and sustaining competitive edge over other businesses. Today the companies need to invest in foreign equity holding to stand for the financial gain. Thus,this paper seeks to analyze the relationship between foreign equity holding and corporate performance of Indian NSEcompanies for a period of ten years from 2009 to 2018. The data is collected through secondary sources. The relevant data required for present research is collected from electronic database ‘PROWESS’ of Centre for Monitoring Indian Economy (CMIE). A sample of 286 NSE has been selected. Data has been analyzed by using Panel Regression. The results indicate that foreign equity holding and firm performance are negatively associated as measured by taking return on assets as proxy.

The study is an attempt to understand various constraints faced by the vegetable producers, which has been carried out for two months in June and July, 2022. A total of 226 farmers participated in the survey from 14 different talukas.

The main aim of this study is to influence social media platform users to take offline purchase decision and also aim to develop trust of consumer for traditional offline marketing. Data were collected of 115 social Media Users for purchasing products offline Proposed Research Model that influence social media consumers during their offline purchased decision were tested Using SPSS. The Findings showed that social media sites have positive effect on offline purchase decision.

Make in India is an ambitious initiative launched by the Government of India in September 2014 to transform the country into a global manufacturing hub. The program aims to attract foreign investment and facilitate domestic manufacturing, thereby boosting economic growth, creating jobs, and enhancing India\'s position in the global economy. This initiative developed by government specially tothe economy and boost up the employment and production in India. The growth of the production sector also enhances other sectors and demeans the import and heavy expenditure that gone on other basic technological pieces of equipment. In reference, it also opens the horizons for other sectors and precise their development. In comparison to the developed economies, India is still lagging behind but after the “Make in India” initiative India has been successful in creating the optimism in the market\r\n
