  • Correlation between Bhagavad Gita and Science and its Importance for Fightersin Modern Times: A Review

Dr.Mridula Das

Abstract: The Bhagavad-Gita is the scientific and systematic explanation to the understanding of the Universe, Life, Materials, Black Hole, Body, Senses, Desire, Mind, Intellect, Wisdom; and all of it as a part of Eternal Energy. In the sense that Lord Krishna, in the Bhagavad Gita, tries to rationalize every statement, the Gita and modern science are identical. Modern science, too, tries to rationalize every belief.

  • Contempt and Denigration of Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes in India

Raghunath Prasad Saket

Abstract: Smith (1776) proposed that in addition to material deprivation, the poor also suffer from pain of shame. Sen (1983) argued that social exclusion (disability to appear in public without shame) is basic capability deprivation and should be included in absolute poverty. Empirical evidence shows the reciprocal relationship between poverty and shame, and poverty and social exclusion. Poor across countries (irrespective of level of development technological progress and rural-urban differentiation) suffer from shame and social exclusion.

Gudivada Leela Vasundhara

Abstract: This paper primarily focuses on the issue of gender inequality in higher education in India. Gender inequality in higher education is a complex issue that affects many facets of Indian culture. In this study, an effort has been made to look at the socio-economic factors that lead to this phenomenon. The purpose of this article is to look at the reasons behind the gender gap in higher education among Indian youngsters. It attempts to draw attention to the significant role that socio-economic and cultural norms play in keeping women underrepresented in India's higher education system. Indian women who pursue higher education have the potential to become self-sufficient, well-adjusted, and capable of significantly impacting their nation's progress. To create the environment in which women may live and thrive, it is imperative that the value of women's education be more widely acknowledged in society.
